Auto LRC Lyrics Search

Starting from version 2.31, user can search LRC Lyrics for audio CD tracks, MP3, OGG, WMA and Wave audio files from the Internet.

Select an audio file in the playlist and then open the Media File Settings Editor using the button as shown in fig. a on the Playlist panel (you can also select Edit Media Settings from the Playlist popup menu).

In the Lyrics page of the "Media File Settings Editor" as shown in fig. b, select Connect CDMI.

Search Lyrics (fig. b)

LRC files searches are based on the Title (not the real file name in the disk) displayed in the playlist. The playlist title format for an LRC search should be artist - song or song - artist. For example: "Celine Dion - My Heart Will Go On" or "My Heart Will Go On - Celine Dion". You can also specify the album name as artist - song - album or song - artist - album if required. If the playlist title is not in the above format, you can edit the playlist title in the Name page of the "Media File Settings Editor" as shown in fig. c.

Modify Title (fig. c)

Press the Confirm button in the "Media File Settings Editor", and then double-click the audio file in the playlist to start your own karaoke show.

If the whole LRC lyrics is out of phase, right-click on the image/video of A2 Theatre (Karaoke Emulator) and select from the Theatre popup menu to open Lyrics Options, and then adjust the timing using the Time-Compensation track-bar in the General page as shown in fig. d until lyrics display is in phase.

Adjust timing (fig. d)

If only the words (or syllables) in a line are out of phase due to bad synchronization, set the font and outline color of Focused Line to be the same as that for Focused Word through the Font page of "Lyrics Options" as shown in fig. e to minimize the effect of incorrect lyrics coloring.

(fig. e)

If both of the above methods don't work, or no LRC lyrics file found, you can still make a lyrics request (with artist, song and album name) here. It is possible that your request is responded with a simple/enhanced LRC lyrics file.
